ACT test scores can impact college admission, scholarships, and eligibility for certain programs or opportunities. Research shows that by far the best and most impactful preparation is to take rigorous courses during middle and high school. But it's also true that a little bit of "test prep" leading up to a test can help students perform better.
Logan High juniors take the ACT in early March, and students can sign up to take a test on their own whenever they want.

In anticipation of the test that juniors take, Logan High offers face-to-face test prep classes taught by our content area teachers in Math, English, and Science. Details about those classes will be announced when the time is closer, usually running in January and February.
Also, the state has contracted with an online test preparation and learning resource called Shmoop. They provide a variety of tools. It is free to use, with the "magic word" provided:
