Review and approval of May 2022 Minutes
Motion to approve: Dan Kent, seconded by Jason Pond
Voting for Chair/Co-Chair:
Karlee Fryer was elected as Chair with Melissa Dahle as co- chair, the vote was unanimous.
Discussion: School Community Council:
Principal Guymon explained the purpose of the School Community Council, and showed a short video training.
Review School Improvement Plan:
Principal Guymon reviewed the SIP for the 2022-23 school year with the Council. He suggested dropping the WIRS program and allocating those funds to provide the adjusted salary amount of the Psychology Intern form USU. Bryan McLaughlin proposed the motion for the change, Jason Pond seconded the motion, the vote was unanimous.
Celebration:
Principal Guymon announced to the Council the preliminary graduation rate for the 2021-22 school year is 89.5%, the final rate will be announced after September 30.
Question/Concerns from Council Members
Jim Woolley mentioned the next scheduled meeting would be held during Homecoming Week, Dana Harris proposed changing the meeting to Sept 28 th , David Henderson seconded the motion, the vote was unanimous.
