LHS Higher Ed Day - Post High Tour
Representatives from Utah colleges and universities will be at Logan High to answer your questions regarding application deadlines, financial aid, and scholarships. Event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and all seniors must attend. Parents are welcome to attend.

September 27

USU Application Night
6:00 – 8:00 pm in the LHS Career Center. This is like the USU Open House listed below, but just for LHS students! Come and apply for admission to USU and receive scholarships that you qualify for, but without the crowds!

October 17

USU Open House
Apply for admissions to USU! Receive any academic scholarship you qualify for on the spot! Admissions staff and representatives from other offices across campus will be in attendance to answer all your Utah State questions. See here for more details:

November 11-17

Utah College Application Week
LHS Counselors and College Admissions Staff will be available in the Career Center to assist in completing college applications during lunch. Application fee waivers will be available during this time for some schools.

November 14

6:00 – 9:00 pm in the LHS Career Center. There will be Financial Aid reps from USU there to help you get your app filled out. Bring your Laptop and 2016 tax information (for both you and your parents).

December 6

Regents’ Application Workshop Day
Counselors will be available in the LHS Career Center to help complete and submit your Regents application from 7:30 to 1:30. Priority deadline for the application is Dec. 8!

This ceremony is to recognize seniors who have received scholarships or awards. Remember to invite your parents. LHS Auditorium from 1:15 p.m. - 2:40 p.m. Please dress nicely.

Watch the LHS News and listen for the announcements every day. This is where you will hear valuable senior information about college and scholarships. You can also view this information at under the Counseling tab. The Career Center and your counselor are fantastic resources, but remember that it is up to you to do the leg work, ask the questions and make sure you are meeting deadlines! ! !

Information on over 3,500 colleges and universities in the United States, as well as a large scholarship database, career interest testing, ACT Prep and a learning library. Requires creating a free account – most students should already have one.

The StepUp website provides Utah students and parents with valuable post-high information. Whether aiming for a one-year certificate or a four-year degree, StepUp provides tips, tools, and resources for preparing and paying for college, making higher education a reality for all Utah students.
