The Grizz Kids club will be meeting after school next Thursday, 11/19 for our monthly activity.  The activity will be held in Ms. Meaker’s classroom, W111.  We will be doing some Thanksgiving activities.  Everyone is welcome!  Don’t miss out!

All students who are interested in attending the Utah Theatre Association Conference to be held at the University of Utah on January 14-16 need to pick up an information sheet from Mrs. Mecham in room 316.  Registration is due Nov. 16.

If you are interested in Business, Elementary Ed, Aviation Operations (from pilot to flight crew), Entrepreneurship (starting your own creative business), Arts (music/dance/theatre/visual) or Technology, UVU in Orem, Utah may be the right fit for you. We will be visiting Nov. 16th. We must have 20 students signed up at the Grizz Center for this trip. Parents invited. Again, stop by the Grizz Center to sign up and get an information sheet.

Have you purchased a yearbook?  Check the list outside the office to see if you have purchased a yearbook. The price of the yearbook is $45 if you purchase before Winter Break. It will cost $55 after Winter Break. The deadline for purchasing a yearbook is January 15.

SENIORS:  Snow College will be holding a “Scholarship Open House” on Thursday, November 19, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.  The Open House will be at the Logan Riverwoods Conference Center located at 615 Riverwoods Parkway.  Bring a transcript and ACT score, and you might receive a scholarship on the spot.  Apply for free and get all you questions answered.

Most Utah colleges and universities have a December 1 deadline for their major scholarships. To ensure that you do not miss out on a scholarship, visit the website of the college or university you plan to attend and get the necessary information needed to apply for a scholarship It is to your advantage to start the scholarship process now..

The Stephen J Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships recognize and reward students who have made a significant impact in the fight against hunger. The scholarship recipients each receive $5,000.

The Young Entrepreneur Scholarship applications are available online. This year the NFIE Foundation will be awarding scholarships valued between $2,000 to $15,000, If you are a budding entrepreneur or have started your own business, you will qualify for this scholarship.   Scholarship information is available in the Student Center.
