Swimming season begins October 5th. For all those wanting to participate, you must have a physical by that date and turned in to an athletic trainer. You must also go onto registermyathlete.com and complete this process.
The Logan High GreenPower Team will have its first meeting of the year on Monday, September 28th, during the first half of lunch. We will be meeting in Mr. Wirthlin’s room (room 216). All members of last year’s teams at both Logan High and Mount Logan Middle School should plan to attend this meeting, as well as anyone who signed up during club rush this year. We will be planning the final construction stages of our racers and our trip to the Salt Flats for time trials at this meeting, so please try to attend, if you can. Students who cannot attend the meeting, but would still like to participate, should contact Mr. Wirthlin or Mr. Mudrow as soon as possible.
Students you can sign up for Driver Education in the Office. The class will begin October 19th. The cost is $125.00.

Most Utah colleges and universities have a December 1 deadline for their major scholarships. To ensure that you do not miss out on a scholarship, visit the website of the college or university you plan to attend and get the necessary information needed to apply for a scholarship It is to your advantage to start the scholarship process now..
The 2016 Horatio Alger Scholarship applications are available online at scholars.horatioalger.org. This form must be filled out online. They are looking for students with a financial need, and a 2.0 GPA. You must be planning to enter a college in the United States after graduation.
The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and commitment to serving their communities. For full information on the selection criteria visit their website at DanielsFund.org. The application process is on the same website. More information is available in the Student Center.
